Magnesium to sooth and relax!

Magnesium to sooth and relax!

April 22

I have been for sometime using a mixture of Tea Tree oil and grape seed oil. It felt great on my skin and I felt great inside as well. The  Tea tree oil was helping mental clarity and helping with the fungus that is growing on my skin across my chest.  The  magnesium powder was to relax the muscles. I believe that it is working. I get a sense of well being and clarity when I use it.  The brand of magnesium powder is Peter Gillham's Natural Calm. Grape seed oil is just the 365 brand from Whole Food. Any Tea Tree oil should work.

I added lavender to the mixture above and I could not take it. The effects of relaxation was just to much between the magnesium and the lavender. Maybe just at night.

Food Sensitivites

Tuesday this past, I had chocolate ice cream. Since I am lactose intolerant it was not very smart. The digestion was upset, the bowls did not move the whole system became sluggish and I actually felt ill. And that is now, about three days hence. But I noticed something wrong with the digestion on Wednesday. This is just an example of how long it takes for the food allergies to manifest themselves. No wonder I could not track them for years.
So today I am on high doses of magnesium and prunes to help clear the system. This kinda makes the comfort level low, what with the gurgling noises an sudden rushes to the restroom. But I also note fatigue, slower thinking and some irritability. The last problems are associated with the depression in the past. Also it is harder to type, to spell. Short term memory, concentration are also effected. So there we have it. Another set of depression problems, tied to food.

Supplements

I ended up in hospital last night because of drinking too much water. I had low electrolytes. I must have drank up to 6x24oz. 144 oz and more. I did this to wash out the candida. But I washed out potassium and magnesium. When I got to the hospital I called a staff member in Dr. Dan's office. It was 10 pm Saturday night and I left a message. I knew that the hospital would call Karabatos, my internist. My thyroid test was low. And Doc. K wants me to see him this week. I want to see Dr. Dan and Dr. Fernandez first. I have heard from both of these doctors, even though it is the weekend. I have gone over the list below verbally with Dr. F. He says that I should not take the OSR and the Kandida Plus together. That is my mistake. So this week we will get this straight with these doctors.
These are the supplements that I am taking recently
1) one OSR with one heart energy and one ACX stopped on 5/02 after speaking with Dr. F
2) KandidaPlus started taking approx. 3/05 along with two Kandida Plus sometimes up to six a day. I take one ATAK and one activator 1
3) I stopped taking Emotional wellness the week of 3/25 . I still take cognitive calming at 4 a day.
4) I was taking Yeast cleanse from Solaray up to 4 a day. This supplement has caprylic acid, Pau d’Arco grapefruit seed extract, and tea tree oil
5) I was taking  tea tree oil at 1000 mg a day

Can I contact someone to test for correct ratios?

There should be a ratio of Calcium, Magnesium, sodium, potassium that is correct. This much magnesium makes me feel great mentally. However the effects of the teeth and pain make me crave comfort food. Carbohydrates. Peanut butter. (I have found out since this post that peanuts cause an allergic reaction-editor)

serotonin and magnesium THE connection!

I think I have found a major link to my depression: I know that I am magnesium deficient.
My mom was struggling with cramps in her hands. has done so for many years. I know that I and my brother suffer from migraines. I have restless leg syndrome and muscle twitches.
All of these are symptoms of magnesium deficiency. This AM I find THIS! http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&ct=res&cd=4&url=http%3A%2F%2Fborntoexplore.org%2Fneurochem.htm&ei=_7wGSuaQMs-Etwes54GIBw&rct=j&q=serotonin+++magnesium%2C&usg=AFQjCNHzBLHeauwaPvtaOSuUCbatiNpF7A
Now I am finally one more step towards chemical balance. Also any type of stress, physical, emotional decreases the serotonin.
Magnesium also is a blood thinner. So are the Omega 3 essential fatty acids. In order to prepare for my colonoscopy I have had to stop all blood thinners. Knowing that my serotonin levels would drop I have upped my antidepressants. As of right now mentally I am doing better. But the aches in the muscles are present. Serotonin is also in the muscles as well.
The next question: is there another chemical action that stops the absorption of magnesium?

Getting ready for a colonoscopy

On 4/22 Rivera gave me a script to start on Ambien. I started about the next day. On the 24th anxiety started up again each day after that the anxiety increased until I stopped it on 29th and then I went back to Rivera on 30th. He changed me to include seroquel, stopping the ambien. This drug was taken at night to help me sleep. First night was Monday the 4th, due to the inability of pharmacy to fill script. They stated the script was on wrong form. Anyways. So the Monday dose was 100 mg. So on Tuesday all day I could barely keep awake. I went to 50mg on Tuesday night still terrible sleepiness all day on Wednesday during the day. Took nothing on Wednesday night. I went back to Ambien on Thursday night anxiety flooded me on Friday. Did not take anything on Friday evening. Saturday morning feeling pretty good. Some anxiety.
Now at the same time the prep for the colonoscopy started on Thursday. Friday Rivera up me to level 2 on the VNS implant. Still at 30 seconds every two hours. No fish oils,Vitamin C or Primrose in AM. Still on Magnesium during day. Stopped magnesium on Thursday night. Started Thoridiazine 50mg on Thursday and on Friday and on Sat. No mag on Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Mag is blood thinner, as is fish oil, vit C and primrose. Friday night I had restless sleep. Saturday In the morning I increased dosage of Paxil to about 20mg. Going off natural stuff to thicken up blood, increasing drugs to stabilize.
I am trying a magnesium product that is powdered and is a magnesium citrate. It absorbs much better than any I have tried before. I read this article
It seems right up my alley. Even to the loud noises. The ear bones can't dampen the noise when lacking the necessary magnesium so that causes stress to the overall body.

Caffine Aborts the Effect of Magnesium

Yep, that excess of caffeine in my diet is deleting the magnesium in the bloodstream that I have been taking to stop the migraine. And the caffeine causes the breasts to be estrogen sensitive and sore. So we are going to delete the caffeine slowly. For fear of caffeine headache. (But the caffeine was in diet coke, and in the end I gave that up completely, the aspartame was causing depression. Aspartame and MSG are similar in chemical make up. We all know that if you have a sensitivity to one, you are sensitive to the other. I am sensitive to MSG also. Causes what I call brain "Zooming". Just weirdness-editor)

Magnesium Works!

The Tricor that was given to me for high cholesterol gave me intense migraines. I had ordered a book, a health book from Bottomline Books and in there it suggested to take magnesium. I stopped the Tricor and began to take the magnesium and slowly over a period of a week lessened the headaches. I will continue to take the mag every 2-3 hours at 500 mg and see what happens. Hopefully all symptoms will go. I have increased eating spinach and other greens as well. It has also sharpened my mind. I am down to only the Cymbalta and the Provigil now. I have not had to adjust the VNS since July.

Off of Paxil (Paraoxatine)

Today I have stopped the last of the Paxil. I will see what it does to me. I have also been on Tricor for the past Month. I stopped the Tricor on the 30th of Oct. I was having incredible Migraines. It is connected to headaches. I am supplementing with 500mg of magnesium 3 or 4 times a day. It has helped. But I have had a constant migraine since about the end of the first week of Oct. Intense.

Reseach and Comments

I have gone to a search engine and am now seeing what others are saying about treatments. Having done this a million times before, my eyes glaze over.

What if you have been on 15 different medications, some in combinations, and still the depression lingers? Natural things don't work, except exercise. That tends to work almost right away. 5HTP, fish oil, massive vitamin C, massive calcium, trials with zinc, copper, magnesium, vitamins A, B, and D, E separately and combined all have been tried. So has thyroid medication. The thyroid medication has had a good effect. But it too has not been my savior. I have been tested for mineral and vitamin deficiency. Nada. It also could be a condition call Wilson's Syndrome. I have been waiting to try the supplements, but it is costly, not being covered by insurance. Sometimes I have to look at this as challenge, a work of detection. Writing about it does many things: clears my head of the anger and frustration of it all. Teaches me how to be articulate about the problem. And, as I try these treatments I will document the effects, (which I have tried to do before) and maybe, just maybe, these records will help me or others searching for what combination will work.
