Food Sensitivites

Tuesday this past, I had chocolate ice cream. Since I am lactose intolerant it was not very smart. The digestion was upset, the bowls did not move the whole system became sluggish and I actually felt ill. And that is now, about three days hence. But I noticed something wrong with the digestion on Wednesday. This is just an example of how long it takes for the food allergies to manifest themselves. No wonder I could not track them for years.
So today I am on high doses of magnesium and prunes to help clear the system. This kinda makes the comfort level low, what with the gurgling noises an sudden rushes to the restroom. But I also note fatigue, slower thinking and some irritability. The last problems are associated with the depression in the past. Also it is harder to type, to spell. Short term memory, concentration are also effected. So there we have it. Another set of depression problems, tied to food.

The new setting for the VNS implant

On February tenth I had the implant turn up to 1.75 every two hours. the next day I had a dental appointment. The Dentist stayed in my mouth for one hour and ten minutes. I ended up crying and being sick for a day and a half. The next week, on the 18th he did only about 15 min of work and I skipped going on the 25th. It has been this stress that has kept me from going down further and faster from the drugs. Now the level is 60 cymbalta, 200 Provigil, 15 Paxil. When I am resting, or have relatively little stress my brain tingles. It is that feeling that I get when it know that I my brain is in a healthly zone. I can handle things better.
The teeth problems will continue for a while, so I will do the teeth appointments every other week.
(All this teeth work needed antibiotics, which caused more problems with depression because they further messed up my digestion by killing the flora in my intestines that provide for the digestion and immunity functions of the body-editor)

Antibiotics are Bad

It seems that the two antibiotics (erytromycin and cipro) that have been tried cause me to shift into depression. I have a new way to calm down my restless sleep. I am telling myself to sleep peacefully, to sleep deeply. This is new, so I have to test it for sometime before I know if it is working in all circumstances. (I studied hypnosis in the early 90's, meditation later, this is one technique from both disciplines. -edtior)(Antibiotics were a part of the problem, they destroyed the digestion and immunity in the system, driving me into the depression deeper and deeper. I also may have been having an allergic reaction to the drugs as well.-editor)
